To start a group chat in Zoho Cliq, follow these steps:

  4. Select "Create a Group Chat": From the menu that appears, select the option to "Create a Group Chat".

  5. Add Members: You will be prompted to add people to the group chat. Type their names or email addresses to invite them. You can add multiple participants to create a group chat.

  6. Set Group Chat Name (Optional): You can name your group chat for better organization.

  7. Click "Create": Once you've added the participants and set a name (optional), click "Create" to start the group chat.

Now, the group chat is set up, and you can start chatting with the added members. You can also share files, conduct video calls, and perform other collaborative actions within the group.

To set up a meeting using Zoho Cliq, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Meet" Button in Zoho Cliq

  1. Open Zoho Cliq: Launch the Zoho Cliq app on your desktop or mobile device.

  2. Select a Chat or Channel: Choose the person or group/channel where you want to set up the meeting.

  3. Click on the "Meet" Button: In the message composer area, you'll find an option called "Meet" (usually represented by a camera or video call icon).

  4. Choose the Meeting Type:

    • You can either start an instant meeting (video call) or schedule a meeting.

    • For an instant meeting, just click the "Meet" button, and it will start a video call immediately.

    • To schedule a meeting, click on the "Schedule a meeting" option (if available). This will allow you to set a time for the meeting in advance.

  5. Schedule the Meeting (if needed):

    • Select a date and time for your meeting.
    • Add a meeting title and description (optional).
    • Add the participants by selecting the contacts or channels.
  6. Send the Invitation: Once you’ve set the meeting details, click "Send" or "Schedule" to send the invite to the participants.

  1. Use the Zoho Calendar or Zoho Meeting: If you have Zoho Meeting or Zoho Calendar integrated with Zoho Cliq, you can directly create and schedule a meeting via those apps.

  2. Click on the Zoho Calendar or Zoho Meeting Link: You will typically find these options in the sidebar or under the app integrations.

  3. Schedule the Meeting: From the integration window, you can set up a meeting, add the details, and invite participants. Once scheduled, it will sync with Zoho Cliq, and participants will get notifications.
